They call me Bee.
I love: Jesus, sunshine, Boise, reading, my dog Scout, freckles, Pride & Prejudice, pancakes, red nail polish, flannel, my bicycle Penelope, tennis, and The Office.
Life is Good.
Deidre texted me last night, asking if I wanted to go for a bike ride on the Greenbelt today. I’m always down for that kind of stuff, so I was like YES PLEASE! Amy and Deidre came over at 10 this morning and we loaded our bikes onto Deidre’s bike rack. I had to ride my uncle’s bike because PENELOPE HAS A FLAT TIRE (my three year record down the tube)!!! Anyway, I figured it would be a pretty chill ride, just a nice little stroll along the Boise River. Wrong. We started out at the bandshell in Julia Davis Park and rode all the way up to Lucky Peak! Total Distance: 20 miles. There were parts where I definitely wanted to ride my bike straight into the river, but it was worth it. We took it easy and chatted most of the way back (and came up with quite a lengthy summer to-do list). I’m extremely exhausted (and sunburned) but I feel incredibly legit.
